Got the floor done in the kitchen... Probably the more challenging of the two rooms. Cabinets, pantry, fridge, stove, dishwasher, desk, 5 doorways... Lots of cuts.
When doing this kind of work, one of these can be your best friend content://com.android.chrome.FileProvider/images/screenshot/1630197619050822773448.jpg Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Very nice work! I’ve done a lot of flooring work these past few years. It seems like it’s usually for someone else. It’s funny how much harder it gets the older you get.
My oldest got here around 11am...i had most of the underlayment down, appliances moved...a good 8 hrs of work.
I’m sure someone will install shoe molding. When I went to Virginia last year to help my son re-do his floor I left him the task of installing the shoe molding. I figured that by the time we finished the floor and baseboard he should have a handle on how to do the shoe molding.
Can we not post trail camera videos on here? Pasting a link to this pretty cool capture from my trail camera. Video is on my facebook group. Who would shoot and who would pass? https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1022983275104703
Same here for white tail in NYS. In fact one year at camp the crew was driving back from a grocery run. We were driving down the road along our north border. There was a truck in front of us that slammed on their breaks and the passenger lifted a shot gun and passed the barrel past drivers chest out the drivers window and shot at a buck. It was on heavily posted land across from our. FIL laid on the horn and they took off. Crazy!
The shoe moulding was lower priority than getting the Family room done... Which it now is done - ish. I saved the shoe from the kitchen, but the FR was carpeted and will be new moulding. All the moulding to be done after MT.
So I might be in NC for MO opener, but i COULD take my bow and hunt the opener there. License for out of state doesn't look too bad. Can't believe I said that. Out of state. Smh. Anyway. Idk what to do. I'll be flying more than likely, which is a pain with a bow. Bah! Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Well no velvet hunting for me this weekend, it’s been way too hot and humid. I’ll wait for my opener in 3.5 weeks. Going to scout some public land here in East Tennessee this week. Hurricane is going to cool the temps down. Lots of big woods and steep terrain here in Upper East Tennessee. There’s been a lot of building going on around my farm. People moving from out of state, buying property, and building houses. It has some of the deer scared it seems. Not many pictures this year, compared to last year. Want some backup public options. Got in some much needed bow therapy this afternoon. Practicing off the back deck, about 16 feet up varying 10-15 yards. Heat index was 102, I didn’t feel like climbing a tree. Only 1 out of 16 shots wasn’t heart or double-lung.
No way am I shootin groups of that many arrows. I’m not sayin I’m a great shot but eventually they will collide and I’m not paying for new arrows lol Hoyt Pro Defiant Easton FMJ Ramcat fixed blade
19 days to WI opener. Don't know if I will be in a deer stand or bear stand. 9 days to the bear opener. If the one I have coming in sticks to his schedule, he should be there on the opener or the following day. Been all daylight so far but that can change in a hurry.
