Set up on a clover field over a buck decoy. My number one was out here a few days ago just after last light. I’m hoping he shows up a little early tonight.

    Good luck![IMG]

Just got set up. On a ridge in between two standing corn fields. I’ve hunted this spot a good bit over the past year it can be a really hot stand.

Sitting in a ground blind over cut corn. Not expecting much. This season has been pretty disappointing so far. Nothing much to speak of on the cameras and the biggest I've seen on stand was a crotch horn. I can't even get a doe in range during shooting light. I had one opportunity so far this year but I couldn't see my pins any longer when she finally stepped into my lane. It could happen at any moment though. That's what keeps us going.

Well I'm back up in a tree, I've come back to the corn field. The big field to my south has been harvested. All the rain we have had has slowed the process of harvesting the corn so. I know there in here we shall see.

It's 61 degrees out with 11 mph east wind

Seen 2 does last night from the road in this corner. I wish I didn't leave my climber at another tree so this is the set up tonight. They come out from every direction to get to this corner. Good luck pm crew. View attachment 140467 IMG_20211028_163632.jpeg

nor'easter moving into Michigan overnight got me pushing my trip back until Saturday. I just drove home last Sunday into 20-30mph cross/headwinds and driving rains, not going to do it again on the way back up just to set up in the soup. I'll hit the road early Saturday and hunt the PM
