    I'll be hunting just south of Farmington, Ky on private land. One of my teammates is probably going to be hunting the Cadiz, KY area. I know there are a couple of others.

    What part of the state will you be hunting?

    Good advice … I’m in to deep… I ’ve been planning this for almost a year already close to $1k into between license cost, gas, hotel, etc.

    18 days till opener. It will have to be a decent weather day for me to go on a Wednesday.

    Anybody gonna be hunting their opener no matter what? Ya know the whole, ya only get so many openers thing.

    Definitely here in Washington for black tail. Gotta get in there before they go completely nocturnal. Also the way work is this year I won’t get much other time than the beginning of September anyway

    I'll be out opening morning for sure! It's like a holiday/tradition for me. I just need to be out there! At one time, I had a 3-year streak going of shooting a deer on opening day....Hard to believe i know, LOL!!

    I do every year no matter the weather. Kind of a tradition for me. I don't mind the heat, most years it's in the 90's opening week. Good thing about the heat, keeps alot of hunters out of the woods. I rarely see any other deer hunters in September.
