Good luck with the recovery, that next pic, lobe when you can see the blood trail from the stand.

That's what you do while you're sitting there, just start picking them out. Soon you'll be obsessed with it!

I picked up an X-stand climber couple years ago on the cheap from Sportsman's Guide while I was on assignment in DC to hunt in VIrginia, it was cheaper than shipping/flying one of mine. Anyway, it's pretty much my new favorite climber. I am not a big fan of the vinyl-covered chain link system, but it's light as hell and it has a giant wide Hazmore-style seat that is by far the most comfortable climber I have ever sat in. Did a few mods to make it more quiet and user-friendly, but I use this more than I do any other portable stand anymore. Too comfy not to. I have 2 LWs climbers just hanging in my shed.

8 minutes today and 5 hours tomorrow is all that stands between me and the woods. And rain and high winds Friday, I'll still set the alarm(s) and make a radar call that morning.

Even if you don't look closely, you'll see the blood. Very nice, congrats!

Tree getting thrashed about 100 yards out. Can’t pick out the deer though through binos. Threw a couple grunts out. Let’s see. 45 minutes untildark

Doesn't look like it to me. Lools like summer/winter coat and lighting. Assuming you mean around the tail area?
