    I'm getting down at 9. If it is offside shoulder I heard he is dead. If it was near side he probably ain't. Not much gray area. If it was a tree then you know the rest! 1st hunt of my vacation.

    I’ve seen four does so far. The only one that came into bow range was an older fawn.

    My killing mood doesn’t extend to fawns.

    Debating on dodging some raindrops this afternoon. It is supposed to drizzle on and off all day, then we get hammered tonight into Wednesday with heavy rain and high wind. Could be a great time to catch them on their feet, especially with the pressure dropping, but there is the chance that if I connect and the shot isn't perfect, I could lose the deer with the heavy rain coming in. I know I should curb my enthusiasm, but it is October 25th.....lol

    I would say you hit the off shoulder base on that picture. Deer shouldn't be too far.
