    Set up for the evening in the same spot I saw those small does last weekend. They will not get a pass today but a passthrough. I brought the wagon from home in case I get one so I can put the deer on that and walk the railroad tracks back.

    Update. No deer yet. Did have 2 rain showers come thru and sun back out now. Temps feel like they are dropping and I didn't bring enough closes! Still plenty of acorns and beech nuts falling all around.

    So it kind of crazy. Usually I will get the thermals kick in about 1 hour before dark. It already started. It's pulling from the thicket down behind me which is great. I can smell deer in there. Also as I'm typing this I just heard 2 deer blowing about 75 yards away. No way they smell me, they are directly up wind.
