Should have lots of pics. Looks like, they finally stripped, the cow peas. Pods and all it actually looks mowed.

Biggest buck of my life has been sitting about 55 yards away right now. Had a doe come in from another angle and walk right past me. He followed her a little bit. But isn’t really pursuing hard. Hope he circles back. Really nice 8 point!

Calm as could be. Dew is melting off. Have a Tom that’s fired off in the distance a couple times.

Have not caught any deer yet… Waiting.

Calm here. 5 does and fawns so far. Wish the wind would pick up a hair and knock the water off the leaves.

May have been a good time for a light grunt, make him think another buck may harass her and get him riled up.

Busted by a lone doe right at first legal light. Pegged me reaching for my bow.

Good to know I'm consistent at least.

I keep telling myself didn't really want to drag a doe that far anyway

I need a dumb deer to come find me… Im either the worst hunter ever or I’m hunting the smartest deer ever.

    Probably both.

Nothing yet. It feels like one of those magical mornings.. sun about to hit the small valley, thermals will rise and I will hear the crunch crunch of a deer walking the military crest/ridge line I’m hunting. Probably a week early for that, but man it just feels right!!!

I did a light rattling sequence at 730 but nothing was interested. Ended up hunting a different spot than I planned. Wind direction was supposed to be wsw at 7mph. There literally no wind at all. Should have went to my original spot. Oh well this one has been good to me in the past. Lots of squirrels out.

3 lone does and a group of 4 does. Group had a small 6 bugging them and 2 smaller bucks farther behind. Only 1 doe was within 100 yards - worked closer and now I can see little spikes.
