    Locked and loaded. That was a haul. Had to get out here super early to retrieve my stuff from tree that i left last weekend. Bumped a few deer in the dark. Had 5 deer run from under the chestnut trees by the driveway on way in. Had a yote barking at me from about 40yds away while i tore my set down. I finally growled at it and it split :lol:. So im all setup for the wind change that is happening as we speak. Im in a draw where two timber fingers meet. Its a well used hub, always get good pics here in the past alot of bucks sparring and whatnot. 30 min till shooting time. Remember. Lets Go Brandon!!! Haha i can actually look at myself in the mirror and say that

    I’m set up in Michigan! Had a light rain quit about a half hour ago. Let’s paint the woods red today!!
    Probably going to be buck or nothing for me this morning, my fiancé and I have engagement pictures at 2 and if I’m not ready for them, I’ll be in big trouble…

    I still have 15 minutes until shooting light. It’s 55 degrees which is warmer than I’d like, but it’s gorgeous out here. The moon is shining on the leaves all around me and there’s a soft south breeze.

    There’s just one thing that ruins it: The constant drone of traffic on I-40 about a mile and a half from me.

    I hate that sound.

    He might not even be dead yet. I tracked mine for two days. Bumped him 3 different times. He was 800 yards from where I shot him on day 2. Eventually had to stop because he went somewhere I didn’t have permission. It might work best that you can’t track him more today.

    Managed to walk right into a party this a.m.. they were all very vocal about it. Two following me to the,stand,to snort and stomp at me. One was real bad 20 mins. straight. It later came out under my stand cautiously just to snort and trot away. A fawn. Thinking I won't see much now. I hate un clean trails

    Good luck today!

    I think I have only been in stand 2 times in the last 2 weeks and that they were bad sits because of a head cold. This thing has been hanging on for 2 weeks. But I'm ready to get back at it. I will be on stand this evening and all day tomorrow and possibly Monday. Time to start killing deer again!

    Squirrel hunter on a nearby parcel, heard what sounds like a 410 twice...would be nice if he'd bump some deer this way...
