    Oh boy everything got quiet. BTW.. I misspoke in above post not brush ..chair blind. I was working on brush blinds today rain has super fast rotting happening.
    Hens are legal for fall hunting, but DEC is looking to make spring season
    .u all day this spring. Winter weather is hit and miss,for severity so I want as many hens laying eggs as possible. I do hope the Tom's show up,though first sign of cold and they disappear into the valley. Let's hope not yet...

    Hens are back..think they are going to roost above me

    Passed this guy last night and multiple times again tonight. He’s angry and charged up. Cleared the doe and fawn and another 2.5 8 off the plot before moving on his way. 8 deer seen so far with plenty of daylight left. Hoping one of my mature bucks makes a daylight appearance in the last hour here.

    Wife wants to go to the state fair tomorrow too... Sigh.

    I’m back at truck. Going home to eat and do some things to get ready to leave for trip tomorrow morning then I will be back to start tracking. It’s been about 2 hours since the shot. I’m still very anxious !! I really hope we find him.

    BIG boy just trotted past me at 70 yrds headed to the field. So now I know ..here's another...Doe spooked at my trail in, 17yrds then 2 high tight 8's chased a doe past her about 30 yrds out. Looks like I'll, sit tight to dark.

    Yesterday I got snookered into working all weekend. Steelers had a bye and figured some doublentime on a vacation paycheck wouldn't hurt.

    Once I got home I realized I have to work 10 hours everyday until Thursday, which is a half day til 11am. Now I only have about 3-4 hours every night to get everything ready. Been trying to go to bed at 8 each night and stopped drinking to get myself prepared for a grind come the 29th.
