    Just made it into my stand. I almost crushed a deer with my truck on the way in. Have a deer who is right behind me blowing like crazy. For the last 5 minutes straight.

    All set up! Bucks were on camera all over the place last night and I saw a nice one on the way here in the car… I’ve decided I’m taking the pressure of killing a big buck off myself and just enjoying these last two days of this incredible opportunity. I’m out here to enjoy gods creation and that’s what I’m gonna do. If I kill a barely legal buck that’s awesome! If I kill a giant thats great too. I’m out here for fun, no more pressure on myself just enjoying a day in the woods. I’m set up further back in the woods this morning so I should be able to stay motivated longer into the morning, when I’m hunting the edges or just smaller sections of woods idk why but I always lose motivation after the first hour or so thinking deer won’t come by. I’m about 100 yards down wind of the awesome rub line I found on Tuesday, have a small scrape at 35 yards that a nice 6 point visited yesterday morning at 7:15 am. Good luck out there today guys!!

    27 degrees with a hard frost this morning. 0 wind. And here I sit at my desk having to work. Help roof my moms garage this afternoon and tomorrow as well.

    Next week should be excellent. A lot of local kids took some really nice bucks the opening of youth firearm season yesterday so they are moving.
