I just reached to where I last saw her. It’s raining already. The blood stopped where I last seen her I guess I’m gonna have to grid search

Can't see what did it because of terrain, but I just saw a sapling get destroyed. Bout 100 yards and the sapling is no longer there.

Look up high as well on saplings and leaves for blood in case she brushed up against them

Keep trying for the blood. Sometimes it's easy to overlook. If it's not a hard rain I wouldn't try grid searching just yet.

Pressure makes one miss blood. That's a fact. Collect yourself. Bring in a big light asap

Good point, also do you have toilet paper to mark previous blood for direction and to keep marking blood so it doesn't get washed away?

This is the last blood I’ve found so far. She walked into the thickest of this thickest stuff

This is the time you forget the rules. Find blood and direction of travel asap...even if she jumps and runs.

I think so too just a matter of finding her before this rain washes everything

if its legal, call for a tracking dog in the morning if you don’t find her tonight. As long as temps are good overnight, meat will be fine. Don’t panic!

Still have found no more blood, and have grid searched everywhere in the direction she went. Only other thing I can do right now, is go the opposite direction I saw her go and check if she circled back

Son did what I was afraid he'd do, Sat in the stand right where he spooked the buck. Want to guess what else he saw? Lol I'm making a bet with myself that a card pull from trail to gully stand will have a buck on it tomorrow.
On top of that it poured half hour after he got out there, still raining.. if it stops a walk in tomorrow will be very quiet.
    Good luck skylar

Forgot how cold 40 degrees is. Way under dressed and no gloves. I’m freezing.

Made it out for a quick afternoon hunt. Didn’t have time to make it to where I wanted to go,

But I am out on a beautiful Fall day, sunshine, 71 degrees, with practically no wind, so it’s all good.

    Good luck Skylar
