    Oh DAMN!!!! !!!!
    Son just called..he makes it halfway past garden and standing there is a huge 8 pt staring at him. He just kept looking at it thinking it was one of my decoys, because " it was so perfect staring at me it looked fake!" Needless to say it swung and went back up into neighbors sanctuary. He wants to stay there to hunt my garden stand...I tried to tell him that buck is probably circling up and around to come back down past gully stand. I think he won't listen...lol

    @SkylarPreston give that deer at least 6 hours from time of shot. More, if you feel you can do it without losing the meat.

    I made the 3 1/2 hour drive to our clubhouse at Wattensaw WMA. I unloaded, took some time to update the scorecard then changed and now I’m all set up.

    I know this is a good spot but I don’t know what to expect this early in the season here.

    Damn...sounds like you have no other choice than to go after her. Be ready for a follow-up shot, but don't keep the arrow knocked in case you slip and fall.

    In that case I would at least find the blood trail and evaluate the blood you see. It won’t be full of dirt.
