I’d go somewhere new, just dig in deeper where you haven’t hunted. Forget the trail cams, don’t get tied into where the pics are go where there coming from
or just guess, try n keep wind in your face on way in or outa the fields if there are any. Try something stupid!

I don’t mind suburban hunting, but I might as well have been sitting on my brother’s back porch with a gun.

Bothers me too. Like the high school is about a half mile away. I could hunt until midnight on Friday nights it's so light from the stadium lights. Listen to the band, the fans, and the announcer all at the same time...

Only noise I have been round that didn't bother me was when I use to hunt next to railroad tracks. Something about a train is almost hypnotic.

I’ve never liked noise of any kind when I’m on stand. I’ve hunted close to Interstate 40 at Wattensaw before. I’ve seen deer and killed deer there, but I might as well have had my headphones in listening to music. In fact it would have been more relaxing and I still could have killed deer. It was sight only.

A big part of what I like about being in a tree hunting is the peace, quiet and solitude. I don’t want to hear neighbors dogs barking or the neighbor’s conversations and arguments. I don’t want to hear road noise, horns or tires on rumble strips.

Just about anywhere I go on Wattensaw WMA I can hear road noise from I-40 and I hate it.

These days it’s difficult to get away from the sounds of civilization.

Good luck to everyone getting out today!
It's opening day for firearm here.
49 degrees hardly any wind. Fog has set in thick. This is going to be interesting.

Man I wish I drew the week of Oct 30th or November 12th… these bucks are here just at night, this place is over 1000acres of non pressured land that no one besides 48 hunters over 4 weeks is aloud to be in…. IMG_4697.JPG IMG_4696.JPG
