    Wish i would have gotten pics Dan in all the confusion of tracking second doe and trying to salvage her from the heat and flies a forgot. Oh well gives me more of a reason to get my butt backbout there and put another one down! Sick to my stomach though

    We’ll dad and I went out scouting this evening, saw two nice 6 points and had a doe and fawn come up to 5 yards from us sitting in a row of corn! Ended up seeing 2 more bucks couldn’t make out what they were, but while I was glassing, since PA doesn’t let us hunt on Sunday I got a total of 6 different bucks on camera between 5pm and 8pm. Going to sit that stand tomorrow evening. Going to try to loop around the property and come in from the west to try to cut the big guy off if he is out in the same field as he was yesterday morning!

    Ended up seeing one of my big guys. He came right out next to one of my other stands but the wind wasn’t quite right for me to sit there. Thought he was going to make his way to me but ended up chasing some doe back into the woods. Got within 90 yards, but that was as close as he’d get. No doubt shooter for me. Big deer!

    Overall, a great night on stand.

    I’m back at the house. I didn’t see a deer from the stand but I had something happen walking out I’ve never had happen before.

    I’m away from home so I texted the video to Ridgerunner3 to see if he can post it.

    Just got sit down on the couch. No deer tonight I’ll be back after them tomorrow afternoon after work I’m planning on hunting here at my house.

    Just wrap in bacon and go to town! You put some people on huge bears you still had a successful season in my eyes!

    My little one got her first buck tonight sorry it wasn’t live from stand things happened fast then had to trail it up but it was awesome to watch her

    Grind it wrapped with a good steak, then take that grind and wrap it with two pounds of bacon and grind it again. Take that grind and grind it one more time, tag is hard on the digestive system when not ground fine.

    Take the three time grind and start browning it in a skillet, once browned, add to a simmering 2 qts of beef stock. Skim floating masses from top, stir and repeat.

    Once skimmed, add in 2lbs cubed potatos, 1lb diced onion, 1lb baby carrots. Bring to a boil and add a cold slurry of 1/2 cup milk and 1/3 cup flour.

    Let thicken and enjoy.....


    Also works without a tag....
