    I got a buck patterned, I’m gonna get in early and beat em back to the bedroom. I tried a saddle setup the other day and I dunno if it’s not fit for me but it cramped my business all up, don’t know how y’all do it!

    Unless you have an extremely saggy scrotum.....the saddle should not cram up your junk at all. I found my HSS ultra-lite harness 100 times more restricting than a saddle. A saddle cradles the back of your thighs and waist. Many people undo or remove the leg straps because they are not really necessary.

    I have a paracord tied to the platform and on the other end, a clip that attaches to my belt loop.

    It's not as complicated as it looks. I have my old tethrd mantis sitting in a box, I do not have ropes etc., but I'll send it to you to try if you'd like. I'm sure someone around here will have spare ropes etc.

    You didn't fit it to your hips right. I always had more sack squeeze in a harness than in the saddle. Keep tweaking the fit, it will be more comfortable when you get it right.

    Watch the times on your camera and don't go in til opening. Go in about 2 hours before the first buck shows up normally. That's one thing good about MD early season, catch those bucks off guard. Also you will probably get a chance at a velvet buck also.
