That's not too long after shooting light either. Hopefully you'll get a shot at him.

Just had a good size coyote come up from behind me through the thick stuff. Moving too fast to get a shot.

At least you guys are seeing live animals. I don't think I've even seen a squirrel this morning.

My head is spinning, freaking squirrels and chippies are everywhere today. Still have beech nuts dropping. Everything's sounds like a deer. Except the spike I saw. He came in silent.

If everything, except the deer, sounds like a deer...then my thoughts tend to change towards nothing sounds like a deer

I've had, in the last 3 days, 4 1/2 hours of sleep. I'm about to make dinner clean up and go to bed until 4:45 a.m. If rain holds off I'll be out in the morning...man it looks and smell like rain now..

I typed the above obviously yesterday. I did go out and had my phone sitting right at the end of counter near door just so I wouldn't forget it. This thought assured I'd forget it...Lol
Went to new stand site and it was so dang noisy. I'm so trying not to go out with the leaf blower mid day...rain will help. Even so went out early enough and did the shuffle stop snuff stop skunk walk the last 100 ft. to stand and had a good sit. I did a pass on basket 8 @ 15 yrds. Because his bigger buddy was out of range behind brush. Doe with twins and Fox. It got warm fast and I'm yes sitting here having my coffee before going to get a ton of work done...garden to pick and clean and a tractor to wash and wax.

Nope I'm walking out too. Absolutely nothing moving this morning. I hope to be back out Saturday. I'll be working at the hospital tomorrow.

I'm getting out either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon and I'm torn. Both days have a ~50% chance of rain during the afternoon hunting hours. Tomorrow looks to be the better day for hunting (lower temps, higher pressure), but I've only been out once this year and the itch is strong!

Either way, I'll be getting out once or twice over the weekend and it looks to be the first bit of decent hunting weather in my area so far this season.

I don't even have a tractor. Lol. If the tractor is green, I can see why, because that green paint costs way more.
