My daughters soccer practice was canceled so I decided to hunt the pm instead of am. Us night walkers hurt come 7am. Ha.
Spent 9-6 on the lottery hunt property yesterday setting up cameras and prepping trees for the saddle… a ridiculous amount of sign in there and bumped up a lot of deer. Found some huge tracks as well. Got 5 cell cams out so I’m looking forward to what I get one camera here. My dad got tired and sat in the truck for the last set up and the game warden came by and talked to him, said there is a big 130in clean 8 in my zone and the zone next to mine (no fences anywhere on the property) there are two giant freak bucks with droptines and kickers everywhere… this is going to be a long week. Did get one buck picture last night not long after I left also getting pictures of a more than healthy doe
Alarm went off and again hard gusty winds. Modified A frame and the curtains are blowing in on both ends! Good day to make more kraut and prep the garlic bed going to be 77 today... Good Luck guys.... there was an absolute ton of deer in the fields last night....a bunch bedded down. . . Looks like they don't like gusty winds in the woods either.

Gonna hit Briery Creek wma. Have Never got anything on it but I set a cam on a remote white oak flat with a scrape on it in August. Want to see that area again.
If I had the energy I was gonna hunt this morning then smallmouth fish this pm...but man I have been sleeping terrible so just the hunting. Good enough for me!
Live from computer room window, just watched a young deer get up from its beds in New plot 80 yrds away and walk through. I like that! Barely caught the movement out the corner of my eye..dang
