Well I don't hunt public much and I hear stories of people who do and it's always something. Someone just came through with a 4 wheeler and a chain saw cutting up something about 200yds away from me. I'll try this spot midweek sometime when the boneheads aren't out. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
No wind now...figures I'm eating dinner. I went out at 3 to replace cards and learned a lot. Pushed a buck out of bedding, and the doe were already piled up in my woods bordering the front field. Now that was a surprise because they are never on us that early in the day. Glad I was alone and going slow. Also cleaned a few trails of big limbs. I got back to pick beans and son turned up with the boys for a great visit. So he'd been at camp bow hunting this weekend and I got the low down for there...I will need to take a trip out there soon.
Heading out in the morning for a few hours. Got a NE wind predicted for tomorrow. Not a usual wind, but I got something for that!!
If my aging butt can get up Ill be right there with you Joe. 1 hr drive. 1 mile walk in....lets do it!
Sounds good brother! Got my alarm set for 0300. 30-minute drive now for me since we bought our house, and a mile in as well. We need to honor Columbus and paint the forest red!!

All setup. There was no mention of rain/drizzle in the forecast, yet here I am in the rain and drizzle. I effing hate the rain and getting wet with a passion, I can’t stress that enough. Setup over a fresh scrape line. Probably fools gold, but ya never know with the rain. 1 hour till legal shooting light.
Hang in there Joe. I hate hunting in the rain too but some of my best sits were right when it slowed down or stopped.
I'll be cheering for y'all today from covid central, aka the hospital. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Plan B is in effect. Came to the ridge I wanted to hunt and was met with a wall of veg. Now I’m on a wide open oak flat and it’s raining acorns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
