30 minutes before 1st shooting light for me. Up on a ridge between feeding and bedding, closer to bedding but an easy entrance so not too much disturbance coming and going. After a windy and blustery 96-100 degree day yesterday, cold front coming in, so winds shifted from southwest to northwest and a high of 72 today. This has been a good spot early season over the years. We shall see…..
Several doe and two young bucks so far. Got some pics of a fawn nursing. Will have to wait and see if they are any good when I get back and upload them
Giving it another hour then I'm out. Nothing so far. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Only this little guy so far. Spent a few minutes right under me, seemed confused by the metal going up the tree.
Alarm went off I checked winds when letting dog out. All over the place... they are still all over the place...I'll see what happens later. Did get the rest of the doe canned, stew last night. Looks good..needs a tad more liquid but I'm happy So I need another doe at least. Don't want to stink up the wood with bad winds. Hills. ....uuhhhggggg
Too hot here today. Will be 90 deg. I dont want to have to worry about a goose chase tonight when i have to work tomorrow. Sooo. Im live from the smoker! 2 racks of baby backs were calling my name. Sunday Bloody Sunday!
From the seat of a Kobota mowing machine I'll be doing 12 ounce curls and eating my greens! Temp at 82 alreàdy. Good luck out there this evening.
I won’t be back out until probably Thursday. No shooters seen so far but I did get a few decent pics over the past week I’ll post in regular forum later tonight. Good luck and stay safe to all those hunting this evening.
Live from public ground. Here's my set up. In the thick stuff there are some apple trees and what looks like cherry trees. Hopefully they skirt the edge to get to. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
