I’m not getting out hunting today, going to scout the lottery hunt property tomorrow and get to put my cameras out and prep trees for next weekend…. 5 cell cams ready to deploy! I went out driving the exterior of the property today and saw about 20 does out in fields. Tomorrow can come soon enough!! Next week is gonna be a long long week

Amazing, thanks!! I've wanted to see them for years and they didn't disappoint. The crowd was really into it, some really good mosh pits breaking out, though I'm too old for that stuff. It was a great time with my wife, son, and friend.

Just got back out in SC. Finally found a way into a piece of Swamp that I know holds deer. Had to break out the ground blind due to this mornings soaking.[IMG]

Think other than washing some gear and organizing the truck I'm officially good to go.

Top it off with a few steaks on the grill, gotta start emtying the freezers.

Going back in around 430 it’s warm and breezy but there is a fresh ground scrape in front of my stand. Maybe whatever made it will be checking it tonight.

Pouring rain here is keeping me out of the stand this afternoon. The bands of rain give visibility of less then 200 yards. Would not be fun to get stuck in that. Good luck this afternoon everyone. I am sure some red leaves will be posted in here shortly!

Threw a cheap cam up in a bedding area. See how it plays out this year. I like doing that without any pressure to hunt. Snapshot of the rut in a particular area.

Working an oak flat. Decent deer sign even though nothing mind blowing. Good to be alive and hunting.

Did find this and thought it was interesting....

Back out on stand for my first set in this stand. I usually hold out until November but after not getting any pictures of this guy since August 12th, he decided to come back twice last night. Once at 8:00 pm and again at 3:00 am this morning. Last shooting light here is 7:25 pm. Hopefully he shows up before last light. IMG_2235.JPG IMG_2232.JPG

Crap. I had a big ass coyote coming in fast. So much better eyesight than deer! Picked me off on the draw. I should have let him walk past me before moving even an inch.

Just got set up. This will be my first evening hunt from this stand. Last week I saw 2 buck and 3 doe here in the morning. first doe that comes by gets it. Acorns are dropping at a pretty good clip with the wind. 1633811674444.jpeg
