    I’m up in my stand. I got here an hour before first light.

    It is pitch black out. Makes it fun climbing with no light on.

    I'll say it was dark, even with lamp. Turned it off when I could,see,ladder and still had a,hard time finding it...lol
    Rain / drizzle all morning. Just had a great chat with 3 toms and a bearded hen. Lots if gobbling from one young Tom. Alls,quiet now. Rain suits working well but there's a cool NE breeze making me stiffen up giving it another hour. If nothing else..I know where I'll be opening fall turkey and just what calls to make. My grunts are few and far between hope that works as well as my turkey vocals did. Good luck guys

    A little over an hour into shooting light and nothing is moving except a couple of raccoons.

    I expected more from this spot.

    Back home. Oh boy! Got so stiff, forgot my seat pad, I had a hard time standing up to climb down. Those mesh metal seats get dang cold and hard. I don't have the "padding nor insulation" I use to.
