it's still very early, brother. Plenty of season left.

 

Yesterday evening I had two Doe walk right underneath me at about 3yds. Didnt see a Buck. The 4 Buck i have on camera at that stand are all morning Bucks, barely at shooting time 0629-0630, only one is a shooter for me. Decisions decisions. Not sure where to go this AM. Up and getting ready.

 

Getting ready to climb the mountain this morning. I dread this walk as it’s straight up the whole way look at the bright side it’s straight down if I get something should make for an easy drag. Supposed to rain between 8 and 9. Good luck this morning anyone who is fortunate to get out.

 

Up and half ready,thought to beat rain to a blind....Hhhmmmm nope.
I don't really feel like getting soaked then sitting wet in a blind to watch. It's coming down at a good clip with the radar all green with yellow/ orange headed our way. Soooo...My feet are toasty in these warm socks and my hands and tummy are OH so warm from this big cup of coffee I'm sipping...in the house

No country, all rock. He did break out the #uck Biden flag and the place was loving it. I did see a few kids with vape pens all upset though, saying, "that wasn't necessary." LOL The crowd was really into the show as well with a few moshpits breaking out during Korn's set. It was great to see considering how dead crowds have been at shows the past 10-15 years. I effing love concerts!!! Next up is Slipknot this friday.

Almost decided to sleep in today. I don't know if anyone here has caught on, but I hate morning hunts. Heck, I'm no fan of mornings in general, but a pin settled on a whitetail with the sun coming up gets me pretty fired up. Good luck this morning ya filthy animals.

Been tied in since 0545. Good shooting light now. Heavy fog but no rain. Didnt go to the stand I was in yesterday afternoon. Wasnt worth going in the dark and possibly mucking it up. Went to a traditional morning spot. Got in clean. No deer yet. Fog is so heavy its like its raining. Good luck everyone.

 

The theme is rain here also, however since I live and hunt pa this Sunday is off limits . Good luck whoever is out.

Back at it this morning. Looking like the rain is going to hold off til 9 or so.

The camera that the buck from last night stood in front of never took a picture. I think I had a picture when it was in velvet and even though it was probably a shooter, the season is early and he just walked on through and didn’t get spooked

Anyone? Anything? Nothing here in Jersey, so far. Giving it half an hour more then off to church. Was a Buck here 1100 on Friday. Crazy deer, never sticking to the plan.

 

Fox just strolled through. Was excited until I saw him. Pretty buggers.
