We’ll I’m out for the morning, going to be in the same area this evening, what a great opening morning
Seeing Son's dragging out logs, I cut, today..I checked cams. Zero, fox, then where I was yesterday at the gypsy blind 3:30 pm a young doe and at 5:49 a 2 1/2 yr old with a half rack (8?) ,big hole under his rt. eye ,one next to his lft eye and a long under skin gouge along his muzzle. You can see the length of tine under the skin where it's swollen. So looks like rattling and decoy come out.
I've been sitting out for a few days. Had quite a few things to take care of and I also needed to recover from doing those things before I got back into it. I really wanted to load up and head for Kentucky tomorrow, but it's such a huge undertaking and I'd be hunting alone, so I've decided I'll head to Wattensaw WMA in Arkansas instead. I will be hunting with a few friends so it will be a lot more fun, even if the deer there are much harder to kill. They are very educated and killing any deer there is an accomplishment.
