Had a perfect shot on a mama but she had 2 younger deer with her that I couldn’t see how old. Ended up being both buttons. Oh well it’s only the first day but I have a little regret. 74 degrees anyway. Still have 45 minutes

Ended up seeing some does, not close enough to shoot. Had a 1.5 yo buck offer numerous shots under 15 yards. Let him go...let him grow a couple years.

No dice this evening, couple doe across the field started blowing at something, looking behind them away from me. They went up the hill never to be seen again. I think the tee I was in would be a better morning tree for now.
Good luck tomorrow everyone, I’m tied up until Sunday.

Only saw the doe that saw me climbing into the stand. Wife made it down okay. Hunting the ground blind tomorrow probably in the rain. Good luck to who ever goes out in the am. I’m sleeping

Eh, you are better than most as far as setting up on sign and prescouted areas. Don't sell yourself short.

Take that extra breath before pulling that trigger. No miss high, low, left or right in 2021. You're going to center punch that 4 1/2 year old this year.
