Nothing for me. Saw two small does walking out. They were very curious as to what the heck I was. I'll be back in later.

I'm out. Nothing but a couple of does and some Boone and Crockett sized mosquitoes.

Hoping to get some more information soon. Haven't seen the land or anything. Just having a few beers at the bar for lunch and he mentioned someone backed out, paid their fees, and is looking for someone to fill in. Just have to pay for tags, gas, and lodging. Was an easy no brainer. I am pumped up.

Don't forget to pack the early season clothing as well, can be in the 70's and even 80's down this way in early November.

Change to the change. I am back home for several reasons but weather was the determining factor. I'm still planning to hunt here tho. The farm looked like a wash out tonight at prime time and all day tomorrow, so here we are.

All set up, wife found out she doesn’t like heights. A doe blew and took off as I was half way up the ladder. So we can say we didn’t get skunked

In a new set. Didnt take too long to get it up. Only thing I forgot was a pull cord for the bow but I managed. Im in a 100yd wide swath of jungle between the corn and the residences. Im right on a trail that the cam has shown, in the past to have been used heavily. Good natural shooting lanes. So here is hoping. Good luck everyone!

She’s hanging on for deer life. I said you have a harness on, it’s only going to hurt pretty bad if you fall in the harness instead of REALLY bad if you hit the ground. 1F3439F4-F808-4452-A003-F75F3322CF52.jpeg

I’m setup, it’s hot so it’ll have to be a 900” deer if I’m shooting…or an annoying doe. First sit on the bean field, from my past time of scouting, they should be showing up in about an hour, hopefully on this side of the field. I’m in a corner with lots of rubs and skirting trails, in between two low spots of the barbed wire fence with fur.
