That's great! Nothing like getting a new place that no one else can hunt. Good luck! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
And with the PA antler restrictions you might just land a slob of a buck. Best of luck in your quest. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
Absolutely I’m pumped up! Always fun learning new props, going to drop some cams out tonight and see what’s around
I have spent hours catching up on this thread. In Michigan, bow season opens Oct 1st. I'm not sure if I am jealous of the early season or thankful ours starts in cooler temps. Three months of hunting is exhausting here. I have been shooting. I have a quiver full of Mega Meat and Dead Meat broad heads. I am excited to try the Mega Meats. Congratulations to those who have made some perfect shots. To the missed shots, sucks - I've been there and done that. It's been fun binging on LFTS. Stay safe out there and I'll be live Friday after work. Aim Small Miss Small.
I'm legal come Friday, now only need to be lethal. Have two buck tags and a doe tag for archery, if need be I can use the bow during firearm season have a buck and doe tag for that as well. Weather will dictate when I get out for my first hunt.
I’m up for the evening. Went slow on the way in and setting up, I’m on an old fence row/tree line that runs parallel to a creek. Field edge about 30 yard behind me. Heavy trail through here, I’ll keep y’all posted!
Well, since I am stuck at home waiting on the results of a COVID test, I might as well stay sharp. Shot from 40 yards.
Thanks, I have only had a slight cough and mild congestion since Wednesday of last week. I wouldn’t have even bother getting tested if my wife hadn’t lost her sense of smell over the weekend and tested positive yesterday.
Still a pretty cool setup even if it is public. It'd definitely help out with angled shots, and be great to have a 3D target down range too!
I got the doe skinned, quartered up and put in the fridge. She will hang out in there til the weekend in a cool 35 degrees. I really hoping to get one more deer to add before I start to process.
