    0300 roll call!!!!! My wife hates me, woke her up with my alarm going off. She is not impressed with my roll call, I could tell by the way she rolled over and yanked the covers with a heavy sigh. LOL!!!

    Thanks y’all! Got turned around a bit walking in using the HuntStand trace/waypoint feature. All set up now, 15 minutes till legal shooting light. I feel much more confident in this spot.

    All settled in for my last morning hunt in Ohio. I’ll be back in 2 weeks. Didn’t see a deer yesterday. Moved to a different spot, hoping it pays off.

    Something just caught my scent and tore through the mountain laurel. Sounded heavy. It didn’t blow at me, but that was no squirrel. I’m in a thick area where it transitions from mountain laurel to thick baby pines. Damn

    For you guys walking your wife, get a vibrating alarm. Even some inexpensive fitbit have this function. Game changer.

    Grrrr….just had 3 doe at 40 yards get chased out by 3. 1 year old spikes. All 3 spikes came within range, I was drawn back a few times but there was no clean shot. Needed a few more steps each time. The spikes were sparring and rubbing saplings. Cool to see, would have been better if I was able to launch an arrow!
