    Great start to the season.
I'll be on a bear trail in about 45 minutes.
Seen 7 yesterday morning and 2 jumbo.
I'm not gonna shoot. Taking 2 others.
    Good luck.

42 degrees this morning in Ohio. Great morning to be on stand. Now if the deer cooperate it will be even better.

Been setup for a while now, nothing yet. It was quite an eventful morning, from the morning bubble guts right as I have all my crap on ready to walk, to using the wrong tree to find my stand, and forgetting my pull rope and hat. But you know what, it feels good to watch the sunrise and be able to sit in a tree again. I need to knock some rust off, but I did make it to the tree.

Better to have bubble guts before you walk out the door than half way to your stand.

Couple doe went to the little pond, I’ve been watching for 20min and never saw them leave. Didn’t hear them leave either, it’s only 40 yards but it’s so thick I can’t see very well.

Thanks, Johnny! I appreciate that. I'm looking forward to the trip down on that public spot again if your still planning to go.

Tough break man but keep your head up. At least you didn't wound it and have to spend the day looking. Keep at it!

get those early season jitters out of the way on a 130", be rock steady on a 160".
    I like your method.

At the house for a crap n nap, found lots of buck sign by the little pond. Now to debate wether I want to hunt the field edge where I saw those 10 deer or hunt the buck sign. I’m thinking the buck sign thinking that will be the travel path to the beans…unless they are coming from across the road, then I’m on the wrong sign.
