Worse than reading the forums, they're checking my calendar. Date night and this bozo wanders into the yard... 20210925_165127.jpeg

Acorns are dropping here like they never have in the 18 years Ive lived here, think they are chestnut oaks? Deer are only hitting corn on random passes. Dropping so bad they dented my daughters car. nuts.jpg nuts 2.jpg

Live from the blind in Ohio! We got here at 3:30 and the owner was mowing the field that I had planned to sit over. I wanted to head home, but the 6 year old really wanted to hunt. So, we're in (he's still mowing) and hoping for does at last light...

You can drink your pee like two times, it’s not bad once you get over the pee taste and the fact you’re drinking pee.

When there are overwhelming food sources with no rhym or reason to the deer using them, hunt deer bedding. Much easier to kill them coming out of their beds before they can take one of a million different routes to whatever food they are eating. If you are public land hunting, hunt and burn, and move on. Just came to full draw on a doe at 12 yards. She trotted off with another doe and a fawn right before I could punch the trigger. They should come back...
