Huge cool down here starting tomorrow. Maybe I can get to trimming one more shooting lane without risking a heat stroke. I can't t wait for that first October cold front.

Heading out, not sure what this storm is going to do, but I’ll at least check a couple cameras on the way out. Sitting in the lower bean field on the creek.

All set, camera check is AMAZING! Wind perfect for this spot, if buck does what he’s been doing, I should see him around 7p. He’s worth shooting in this weather. Rain came in but I’m under good canopy and have umbrella, as long as it stays like this I’ll stay.

No dice fellas, 9 deer came out, none with hats on. Left my sticks up, cameras say noon has been consistent, but it depends on family events.

It was awesome, once the rain quit it was much more enjoyable. Once those doe popped out right under me, it got me fired up. I have a good stock of doe to slay, I think I’ll take 4 this year, usually only need 3/4 deer to get through to the next season, but rona season has changed my reliance on the grocery store.
    It’s getting close fellas!

Heading out this morning to do some trail work at the farm. Was planting turnips yesterday there and found a bunch of blown over trees blocking the trails! Need to get them moved so I can finish seeding...
