I'm out and there is now a shooting lane through the brush out to 40yds. Those Bucks do that again, the bigger one is going to take a dirt nap.
This is the bigger one I saw. The ground blind is set up in his bedroom. A shooter for me for sure. Except for mass, they don't get better then this where I hunt.
I'll be in a stand after work! Makes me this happy. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I got down and moved my stand as far SE as I could. I figure it’ll give me another 5-10 minutes before the morning bucks get to me. I said a buck walked by this morning before I could tell how big he was. He walked right by my tree and eventually right in front of the cameras I put up 10 yards from the tree I was in. I could just barely make him out with my binoculars. I couldn’t see him at all with my eyes. If he’s been a few minutes later or if I’d been in my new tree I might have had a shot. This isn't the buck I had walk by yesterday. This one is a good bit smaller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I gotta tell you Joe, he doesn't look like an old buck at all but he would get an arrow from me also. I've started holding out for bigger racks, but I haven't graduated to letting big young bucks pass yet hoping for an old one.
He's pretty regular. In the same 100yds between my stand and the ground blind almost every morning sometime between 0730 and 0830. Wish I could hunt every morning for the next two weeks. He also shows up with other Bucks in the evening occasionally after 1800.
I agree, that smaller one would still be my best with a bow. Missouri does allow two bucks if the second one is taken after Nov 15 @LittleChief
Even though I know there's a bigger one here, I have to admit that I'd probably shoot this one if I get a chance.
