I went to the one in Arkansas last year. It is well worth attending, especially for new saddle hunters or those interested. Even if you do not use Tethrd products it worth the knowledge.

OK, so since this thread is still somewhat active.

    Have a question for everyone.

2 weeks in succession or multiple 5 plus day spans?

I could do Oct. 29- November 14th, possibly 16th. On consecutive days or do some thing like below.

3 day weekends are a guarantee regardless. Just talking the Mon-Thurs. days

Green dots are hunt days, green dots with red dot are main firearm season days.

November 8th -12th I could take 2 of those days and move them elsewhere on weekdays or even add 2-3 more in to the mix.

hate to be That Guy but it depends...on weather mostly. But how far out do you have to schedule this? I would try to play it by ear.
Also depends on what type of hunting. Roughing it? Cabin? Camper? Tent? Back of your truck? Or roll out of your comfy Serta at home every AM at 0500? Pre-set ladders or hang and hunt?

I mostly camper hunt and mix it up with some pre-set and hang and hunts, and I can tell you by about day 8 I am pretty strung out.

Would be rolling out of my comfy bed every day and driving an hour each way. More like 0400 each morning.

Prehung stands that have been in place for no less than 10 years.

I aim to mix it up this year and take advantage of the prehangs by getting into the skirt-by trails deer have taken the past few years.

I would bang that drum every day for 2 weeks straight then; so long as it wasn't awful weather.

I kind of like the idea of being as flexible as possible depending on weather like noods suggested. I'm not sure you can go wrong with that much time off that time of year tho. I doubt ill get that kind of time off or flexibility, but feel like you are doing good either way brother.

120 days until opener for me. Our season always opens the last Saturday of September. That is the 25th this year. Almost a full extra week compared to opening on the 30th or October 1st.

Usually in mid August going by years past. That said, @LittleChief may be running it again and he likes to switch up the norms a bit, so I'd just keep an eye out for it from July onward.

Think I'm going to sit this year out actually, LFTS is my fix and passion anymore.

I spent a lot more time on LFTS than my team page last year. Especially once I contest-tagged out. Which happened on the same day.
