Nah. Big baits worked slow. I remember working big blue and black tubes, creature baits and jigs nice and slow payed off regularly. I used to kill em with this in February and March here. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
No shame in Crappie, but may be a bit too warm now. Will be prime catfish fishing here soon. Good luck.
Really? I always thought catfishing season peaked around mid February... right around the 14th or so... Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It was relaxing being out in the water but the fish just weren’t biting what I was offering. I got skunked.
Good till it gets warm...Temps this week will be 50s to low 60s...generally March to may here (blues, flats and channel)
I believe axtell343 was being a smart-alec and referring to the type of catfishing that occurs on social media, per his reference to it peaking on Valentine's Day.
I missed it first read, but didn't want to make a call on his judgement (either as a catfish or catfisher)
We got skunked. Nothing was biting so we came home and we’re out doing some shed hunting. Found my first one ever a few minutes ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like he's going to be even goofier next year- looks like he may have pulled some of his pedicle off. Keep is posted he should be cool looking.
Got my predator XL platform over the weekend, also got my wild edge steps last week. I am now decked out to be a saddle hunter this fall!! Now it’s time to practice practice practice
Have you heard about the tethrd teach-n-train tour? It's where tethrd sends these teams out and hosts events to get new saddle hunters acquainted with their, the hunters, equipment. It's free and they serve a meal and everything. I think you live in Pennsylvania? and I think there's one coming up there in July. I just signed up for one here in Indiana next month. Check it out, sounds like a good time. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
