Cracks me up when I see people do this or in the back of a hatchback/SUV. I think if it was ever my have to option I would buy some permethrin Sawyers/Permanone etc. and spray the carpet/upholstery in the immediate area to combat any ticks. I hate ticks, would probably have to trade it in or burn it after getting home

Crazy evening for me. My goal was just to shoot a doe. There was alot of new buck sign in there as I was walking in. About 20 minutes before dark I had a couple yearlings running around at full speed running 100 yard circles around me, just acting crazy. Then a couple does came by. I'm setting up to take a shot and she is walking behind me coming at about 10 yards. Then behind me a hear a grunt, then the unmistakable sound of a buck walking. So let the doe walk and start trying to turn around to get a shot at the buck. He walks right down the trail I came in on. Then when he gets 10 yards in front of me he turns and takes a couple steps towards my tree. He smells me and is starting to get weird. I take the shot real quick and unsure of my shot. He was acting normal. I then have a huge doe come in and hit my wind. I went for my bow, but forgot to get another arrow. She takes off. Then about 10 minutes before Iast light, 2 more does come in to about 10 yards. Went for my bow again and they heard me and take off. I get down and see its a clean miss. I step it off and he was only 6 feet from me. Way to close, wish he was about 10 yards out. He ran alittle bit then just walked off. Don't think he even knew what happen.

Ha! I called a buddy after the hunt and he said the same thing. At least I will have a good 4 year old to chase!
