It’s def mine, I have big expectations. I need to be realistic tho, it’s hunting. Just pumped to be in the chips at an opportunity at a big one.

It almost happened! About 30 minutes before dark I hear a deer walking towards me. It's coming from behind me, so I looked over my shoulder. It's a doe and is coming in fast. She gets to 18 yards and stops. I'm stuck in a bad position and can't get turned around to get a shot. After a minute of staring in my direction she continued on away from me. No shot once I got turned around.

So the Kentucky and Missouri seasons are officially over now.

I was actually considering going across the road here at home this afternoon just so I could sit in a tree and see the season out here, but the wind was blasting and it was snowing sideways. No thanks.

Arkansas is still open and I’m really itching to get back after one of those bucks that are moving through the spot I found but it will have to wait until after one of my sons comes to visit on Sunday. I’m not sure how long he and his family will be here but when they leave so will I.

I have 4 points now. I was supposed to go 2020 but planes changed, so with 2021’s point 5 will be a guarantee. I’m told I will only need 4, but for 50$ I like the assurance.

Nice! What zone you heading to? If I don’t fulfill it during archery on my 10 day trip I’m planing to come back out in late ML. Good luck to you as well!

I’m heading back out in a couple hours for a Pm sit, we’re getting a snow dusting now. Going to sit where I saw all the deer the other day, I’m sure they will go past the tree I sat last sit, time will tell! Statewide is over the 18th I have tonight and Monday to fill a doe tag.

I decided to give the smoke pole one last shot. Our season ends Monday so this is it. It was either sit on the couch or in woods. No brainer !!any doe will do. Gun needs to be emptied to clean it so hopefully unload on one!!

(Semi) Live from the Columbus Zoo. This caribou's left antler picked up the slack from the weak right side. Pretty darn cool!
