Saw about 8 right at first light, they ended up winding me from about 100 yards, nothing since and it’s freezing, calling it a day!

It’s been a heck of a sit. I had just gotten set up at 3:00 when I heard deer coming. Lots of deer.

A small 8 was harassing a big group of does. He spooked 12 of them and they ran right under me and stopped. Three does ran out to about 50 yards and the buck followed them.

There was no way I could draw with that many eyes so close.

Finally one decided she didn’t like the smell of ozone and they all ran off.

I ended up seeing three more does about 20 minutes before dark. They were out of range.

I ended up seeing 19 deer this afternoon. Not bad at all for public land in Arkansas when I'm hunting in the woods instead of sitting a green field.

Too bad I couldn't get it done.

    Thanks.

Just had four does coming in. The wind shifted just long enough for them to bust out and then it switched back to NNE.
