Setup on a saddle hoping for a doe. Dads at one of my stands but couldn’t get up cuz the prusik knot is frozen. We are both on the ground tonight. Good luck to anybody out

Still trying to get a deer for our friends. Would have been nice if they would have mentioned this in Oct.

None. Pouring rain all day and all night. Then the temps drop like 30゚ over about 12 hours.

Went scouting for ducks. Took my shotgun. Walked up on a hole and birds flushed everywhere. Shot my limit of wood ducks. Going back in the morning. Hoping for a good shoot. Hoping to end the day in my deer stand. Could be a helluva day! Loving these cold temps. Also these knives are sick. Got one today. Looking forward to putting to work on a deer. 20201225_132151.jpeg 20201225_144704.jpeg 20201225_172921.jpeg

I have had enough!!!! We'll never help anyone again......EVER!! I'm too kindhearted, or I'm too stupid....
Yesterday it was so cold out that I let a man stay in my hanger for the night, out of the kindness of my heart. I felt so sorry for him. Poor thing was trembling out in the cold, but this morning he had just vanished. Not a word...not even a goodbye or a thank you for sheltering him!!
The last straw?!?! When I realized he had peed all over the floor in my hangars kitchen!!! That's the thank you I get for being good to people?!?!?!
Now I'm going to warn my friends to watch out for this man! He is heavy set, wearing nothing but a scarf, he has a nose that looks like a carrot, two black eyes, and his arms are so skinny they look like sticks!!! Don't bring him into your hanger!! What a huge mess he made on the floor. Merry Christmas!

    Stole and had share!

    Good Luck, everyone!!
I'm in a hockey coaches class for 1/2 of the day then it's off to habitat work here on the farm. We rented a skid steer and stump grinder. I wish I would've taken "before" pic's to show what we've done. I never think of that until after the fact. lol

Let's try this again. Adjusted 50 yds further toward bedding and little higher uphill towards the main trail. Saw lots of evidence on the way in they are eating the acorns on the trail and I know they hit my ground scent this morning on the the way back to bed. Half the does kept rounding this large blowdown yesterday. Just need a buck to do the same. Upper 20s.
