    Exactly!!
I just got back from checking my cams (didn't look at cards yet) since the snow first came, it's been almost two weeks. There were a lot of tracks and a lot of fresh deer crap in the area, which tells me they're feeding pretty regularly here. This seems to happen every year in this particular area around the same time, and the only thing that sticks out to me is the fact that there's still some green on some of the bushes in this area.

Generally, there aren't many good food sources in my woods, other than basic browse, so I guess the green on these bushes/small trees is the only game in town for them? Either way, I'll be putting in some time here after Christmas.

edit: After viewing the cards, I only had a small 6pt, very small forky, and just a few does. This is for two weeks. That sort of shows how bad my woods are these days.

Great hunt, until my wife text me and said her folks needed to leave. Of course, it was when the plot was full of deer.

    Merry Christmas, everyone!!

3 inches of snow on the ground. Dad and I are gonna take our rifles in the morning, and see what’s stirring. It poured of rain all day today so I’m thinking they’ll be on there feet early in this morning. If it’s brown it’s down for dad today. For me it would have to be a descent buck. I’m just hoping we both get a doe that would be nice. Merry Christmas everybody

Out for a morning sit. Hoping I moved just far enough down that bucks scrape line, and the extra couple minutes of light give me an opportunity.

Windy 10-15, near freezing, had some flurries on the way here.

I've walked this trail at least a half dozen times this year. Look left and see what I think is some kind of shiny metal bc rednecks dump appliances and such on public land. Keep walking then look again and see antlers. I couldn't believe it

Merry Christmas to you all. Wife has been feeling better since surgery so just told me i could hunt tomorrow morning and sunday evening. I think that was the best Christmas gift she could have given me haha. A week taking care of kids is enough to drive a man crazy

Well, I think that's one 4 pt that could be in trouble. Yeah, so the stalk was blown, you know he's there...

Saw nothing this morning. Got disoriented going in too...

Windy and cold. I think I would've been better off stalking around the woods than sitting.
