    It's tough, but I usually only use 1 1/2 days before November. I use those to attend the Iowa Deer Classic to help out in our TBI booth. If you've never been, you all need to come by. That thing is a blast!!

    We split yesterday's games. Blew a team out and got blown out. Getting ready to head to the rink now, and be back at the rink for a 3pm game. Good Luck to everyone!!!

    Ofcourse it’s Sunday so I’m stuck on the couch and not in the woods. Hurts even more when you get a cell cam picture of a buck right at your stand at 7:18am. It’s hard to tell from the distance and quality but I think this is the buck I had the encounter with a few weeks ago. IMG_5039.JPG IMG_5040.JPG

    Deer spooked out of field as I wrote the last post. Just had a huge yote trot 60 yrds past me headed to pines. No shot,hoping he pushes deer out of pines. Something has the crow talking now. Winds picking up and Temps are dropping. Feet are saying you don't have much longer out here

    Congrats to all that have had kills the last couple of weeks.
    Even with rubber over boots my 1200 gr. Setters are,saying sorry time to go. Cold enough to have the trees popping. My brain is saying ..." do you REALLY want to gut a deer in this?...no, NO I don't!

    This pretty much describes my situation. I've put in 118 hours/25 sits since Oct 26th, and I've had exactly 2 deer in bow range that I could have killed. They were yearlings, which I won't shoot. I like trees and all, but... :lol:
    I'll be giving it another try during the late season. It reopens the day after Christmas and goes until Jan 23rd.

    So looks like all the deer were across street behind house because that's where a bunch of shooting has happened. Even the mailman took note. Yes I said mailman. Now mind you . They couldn't deliver ballots ahead of election on Sunday....though have an Amazon delivery and they are out there making home deliveries. Though being told your on a timer....hhmmmmm
