I was just messing with you because you accidentally disliked my arrow pic. No worries. I can always use another "dislike".

I had one arrow this season that just had dirt on it also. Unfortunately it was the arrow I launched at what would have been my biggest buck this season.

I knew that. I've done it multiple times myself.

    No harm done at all.

Stop that! I am hoping I can trick my wife into letting me get back up there. Congrats for the 12th time in 2020. You might as well go for 20 at this point!

Edited 12/3 to include scores. All in favor of @LittleChief being his own team next year, quote the post and say "Aye."

5 pages to catch up on since this AM; I knew there were bodies on the ground. Just glad it's nobody fell out of a tree.

    Congrats, you killers!

@Holt- I knew you would carry our MDMI team this year but I didn't think it would be with 50...

(my buck was killed in WI.)

Still got some time left in MI though.

It's fun! I got a hand me down one about 4 years ago. It shoots like crap and didn't feel great to me. So I bought the one I have now of ebay, used. It shoots great. The biggest piece of advice is don't over bow yourself. I wish mine was in the 45-50 lbs range. That extra 5 lbs really makes me struggle to hold back if I'm not shooting a few times a week. Also if just starting out, get a cheap one. Great reviews on the Black Hunter longbow on amazon and can get it for around $100. Then if you get into it, can buy a custom one. It just so simple to shoot and actually makes me shoot my compound better some how.

I have not. I've had the ones on my LW safety's too tight from the factory. I've ended up tying several of them myself just to have some extra slack.

That's exactly the plan for next year. We put our crop ground in to the Pollinator program so the deer don't have their normal "crops" to feed on. I feel like they've moved around a little and the neighbor building his $#*&^ house right on our property line hasn't helped the deer stability either. We bought a 4 row planter last weekend so we can get to the bottoms easier and get plots planted. Should be a game changer come next fall. We shall see.

We rented a stump grinder this past summer to get rid of the walnut stumps that were tearing up our equipment. I cannot think of the brand but it was bad a$$. Self contained unit on tracks. Does an outstanding job!!! Plan on getting it again this winter for some follow-up work.
