    Holt, what is the draw weight of your longbow?

    It's 55 lbs @ 28". I probably pulling close to 29- 30" draw, so weight might be close to 60 lbs. It's a little to much bow for me, would prefer about 5 lbs less.

    It sure is a different ball game with that bow. Everything has to come together quickly, there's no holding draw for a while. :lol:

    That's better than what my wife said when I walked in the door and showed her the quiver with the bloody arrow.

    She usually has to help me blood trail and she had just gotten home from volunteer work maintaining the Ozark Trail, had taken a shower and was in her pajamas. I believe a direct quote was "Aw sh**! Again?!!" :lol:

    I explained that I knew where it was and I could recover it with the quad. :lol:

    Yes, I did that 2 years ago in a few different spots. The biggest problem with my woods is they can pretty much come from anywhere, it’s big woods hunting.

    I figured that was the case looking at the pics. I was kind of referring to making it so they only have limited ways into the plot itself, regardless of where they came from to get to the plot.
