A bit breezy, but south is good. Cloudy and chilly, just perfect conditions.

I'm back in a tree again, now I only have one more tag and that is for a Buck.

I want to thank every1 for the well wishes and the congrats first off.

I enjoy this thread every year. Bunch of like mind great ppl.

A special thank you for @Fix , after my wounding a buck and my miss the other day. Him and I talked and text. I felt confident enough to take a shot if one came my way to get back on the horse again. @virginiashadow , a big thank you to you too sir. Not letting me self pitty and woo is me, reminded me I was in the game seeing deer and bucks to keep me coming back out to the woods.
Then there is @Tony a true friend. There for me to cry on his shoulder so to speak. @alenhard15 and @mike4christ there up beat attitude in our group text. And there relentless posting of pics of deer in front of thier trail cameras. Let's not forget @Creepy21 , Mike you make me laugh. Thx bud

    Thanks guys and gals

Now for that big sob I missed.

The one I hit has been seen chasing does at night in a field close by. Limping but still chasing.

Slept in today, I was exhausted. I just now hunted for a few hours, 30-40 gusts over here all day. Nothing moving at all. I have to swap a card in a camera by the pond, may just sit on the ground over there for the pm.
It’s an active travel corridor, I get tons of pictures and I’ve never tried it, so what the hell?
My last hunt this trip, heading home in the morning.
    Good luck!

I set a trail camera in a bedding area a few years. The results may be a result of that isolated area, but I bet they are more general. I saw a spike in buck movement into that bedding around Nov 22 to 30. All kinds of bucks walking into the bedding area during daylight hours.

Aaahhhh ....on my own for a few days... I can only hope they stay there for at least a week...though I'll see him at Thanksgiving.

Well I’m in for what is looking like the last sit for me in 2020 archery season. All I ask is one doe.... doesn’t have to be a big one!!!!
Seems like a good night. Time will tell. Good luck out there.

Just had doe come past at a good clip, but no buck in tow. It was odd, because she had no clue I was here.
That’s only the third doe I’ve seen all season!
