Mosquitos are one thing we don’t have here in the hills. Well, not many anyway. What we do have in abundance though are ticks. So far I’ve seen absolutely nothing. The highlight of this sit up to now has been listening to the whippoorwills just before dawn.
3 does and a yearling came by but out of range, 45, and went the wrong way. Rear doe I swear pegged me ranging her. Stared my way a while and wandered off finally. Big ole nanny left me excited and hungry. Typical. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Kind of funny...i didn't believe what I was looking at for a second when I first saw them. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Prove yourself to the deer woods. Cut off your pinky finger and throw it into the woods before you enter. Better luck to follow.
I coulda said have no luck at all... I wanted you all to kill trust me. It's way more fun for the rest of us waiting for our season to start when you all kill! So don't hold back on account of my post - please!
Another doe and yearling, maybe fawn. Again no shot and I'm thinking she is going to be down wind soon. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
*****†***Long post*****†*** Question****** First-. I went to ck camera yesterday and i kicked up a large buck in swampy area it's in-between several cornfields. I was driving my 4 wheeler around the swamp to get to my camera at 1200/noon when this large buck jumped up and bounded away all I saw was a chocolate hard horn rack àbout 20 inches wide and tall tines bounding away. I had to drive over a pipe that the creek drains through and into the swampy area to get to my camera area. Should I put a stand in there near his exit travel. Usually that place is filled with water but it's not this year. The first time I put camera in, I took the same path. Didn't just him out then. Farmer told me he was back there behind his silage. That why I put camera in there. I hunted where my camera is last year along the one corn field. What would you do?
