1 sounds perfect. Get some lunch and head out and get your doe. Just watch ahead for her. You may have a ton of blood and then it stops quick just look ahead 20 or 30 yards for a death run. Usually will crash in some very thick stuff if it's around.

She bedded about 20 yards from where i shot her but another deer bumped and she tirelessly trotted about 50 yards and I’m pretty sure she bedded again. I’m gone now so my fingers are crossed. This is the first time I’ve ever made a bad shot on a deer so I’m stressed out

1 good doe and a smaller one fed to about 40yds. The big doe would never step out she was watching the little one fed. They went back up into the bedding. Congrats pastor Jim. Good luck with your track job guys.

Wind is swirling a bit. We have been covers up in doe and a few small bucks. Good sit. We’re going to slide out.

Maybe a touch back more than that? Usually that far back and up you catch some lung. But I’m not that experienced as some are in here

They are pushing her farther away now, I can’t see them, but I can hear them still, she isn’t getting out of her bed as quickly as before. I’m pissed at myself right now

Yes it's very stressful. You need to give yourself time also, this lets the adrenaline settle down. This will help have a clear mind when you start to track. With her bedding so close, sounds fatal.

With them pushing her and making her move, she will expire faster. Just hope you have enough property to track. With all the commotion, can you stalk up to her?

I would still sit tight for a while, unless you can slip out undetected. The last thing you want to do is become another thing she thinks she has to avoid, that could push her further. She has her hands full with these persistent youngsters as it is. Pretend you haven't seen anything and continue sitting for a few hours, then start your track.

No way, I’m still covered up in deer. Another doe and button buck just showed up,
It’s a Littlechief kind of day and I blew it!

A new POSTED sign went up on the anti lady's property line. It bothers me that somebody could think I'm unethical. I'm debating going over to introduce myself and give her my contact info... 20201114_090301.jpg

Good luck on the recoveries @axtell343 , and @SkylarPreston

I've had a good sit. 6 does. Man I was hoping there was a buck following the lone doe.
