Now this feels like November! I’m in. Got in here early and deer moving all around. Few blew at my headlamp when I was climbing tree. Now nothing to be seen imagine that. I did have this guy just now at 5 yds.

Good luck guys. Looking forward to hearing how they are moving. I have been nursing my wounds from my ladder fall last week. Hope to try it in the next few days

You got this then! I know how many times I said to my self that "I wish I was 50 yards that way" then have a big buck walk thru that exact spot! Haha happens to me more then I like.

Well. Took forever and 2 days but I am finally set up in the saddle. I am hunting a spot I have never been to on public land. Nothing is safe. Absolutely everything is on the menu today! (Well, i did pass on a raccoon on my way up the tree). Already saw 3 or 4 doe walking by me when I was at the base of my tree getting ready to climb. They were out of range and had no idea I was here. And so my 3 day vacation begins. Let’s go!!!

1st hunt of the season. Not sure what to expect haven’t done any prep this year. I put out cameras about 10 weeks ago and never got chance to check them. It’s a nice cold low 30s and I have a doe and 2 fawns around me for the last 30 min. Good luck everyone.

Just had a decent 6 point come through. Just out of range. Threw everything but the kitchen sink at him to make him come within range. Wasn’t feeling it. I am digging this spot!
