    I love finding old treestands! To be honest, When I participated on AT, I started a thread called "The abandoned treestand thread" It has some amazing pictures over the years.

    I should start one on this forum.

    That is one very cool pic!! That reminds me of a very old wooden stand I found in the woods years ago. I noted what a great spot it was in, very thick! Like you mention, I wondered what kind of luck the hunter had from it?

    You should! I think it would be interesting to see some of the imaginative ideas folks used in putting their stands up. Any way of gathering some of the pics from AT? :biggrin:

    Those are usually good spots to hunt as well , the ol timers new deer moved in the area , and deer are creatures of habit wven through the years
