3 big ass coyotes just plowed through here running like hell. Thought it was a buck chasing. Dang those things.

Guy just ran his job boat up the creek. I could hear every rock he hit with the bottom of his boat or prop. He also spooked all the Heron, what a trainwreck.

Nothing but squirrels and birds so far. It was dead calm for the first few hours. We are 50 yards downwind of a bedding area. Hopefully, something will start moving soon. We are not greedy, a button buck will do.

Not a single deer! I did see my fox friend for the fourth day. At least he breaks the monotony.

I'm out. Speed scout revealed...nada sign anywhere. Never seen such a lack of sign here. Good thing I have other spots to hunt.

I'm sitting here, and I hear very slow, cautious crunch crunch. Then nothing for about a minute. Then crunch, crunch, crunch... Quiet. I'm starting into this thicket looking, straining to see movement... A brown blob... Crunch, crunch... I know it's right there, but can't see it. Boy, this one is coy... Crunch, crunch. Then finally, I see it... A turtle.

This is gonna be a long middle of an all day sit... just shed my outer layers, wishing I didn’t go with base layers too this morning
