    Got in clean, no deer running off or blowing. Very surprised cause it was super quiet and very bright out from the moon. Saw 3 satellites moving through the sky on my way in. Heard a deer walk by me about 75yds out in the dark. Gonna try some grunting and rattling this AM, probably my only shot.

    I read this week somewhere there are something like an avg of 1.8 squirrels per Sq mile in the US.

    Apparently, I'm in an above avg area.

    Had a few too many brews after last nights mishap and am feeling it this morning.

    60 degrees this morning. In a box stand with a nice comfy computer chair to sit on and a .308 sighted in to 400yds haha.

    Rifle season means one thing and one thing only for us. If it’s not going on the wall, you’re not shooting it.

    Still in my Jammie. Shooting lite is still 50 minutes away. A 2 minute walk to my stand.
    Couple bananas and a diet dew and ill be in.
    I feel it today. Finally have a light breeze.
    I think there will be some bloody arrows today.

    I did something I would have never thought of years ago...moved my stand closer to where that buck circled. He worked a scrape and wasnt worried about me but he will not come back through by my stand. Moved 30 yds and got better cover.
