Holy ****. It’s this one that is chasing/has a doe locked down about 100yds from me.

Chased 2 fawns off of her at 60yds right in the open in front of me and went back to her.

Allllllright....after poking around for an hour and not finding any fresh buck sign, I'm set up on the only active scrape around. Just off wind and about 3 lanes to shoot. Not ideal. And I am sweating in a tree. In November.

Sorry no shirtless pics from me. Don't want to shame you bunch of Mary's.

I'd shoot him given the opportunity.

No shots for me. I did see 4 does but not close enough for a shot. Back at it bright and early tomorrow.

I'm really looking forward to going to my stand in the dark tomorrow morning. Haven't done it since last year. The extra prep for an all day hunt gets me pumped, even though I'm not expecting too much.
There was a time when I would go into my woods and expect to see deer, now I go in hoping.

Missed the big one. Shot right under him at 35. I’m devastated.

Longer than I’d like I’m afraid.
The shot looked perfect and I heard it crash but I heard a lot of commotion after that.

Gonna retrieve the arrow, Mark the spot and go back to camp to change, review the Tactacam footage and decide how long to wait.

Brother you are in the mix this year big time! Keep at it man. One of the best hunters I know missed a 20 yd shot on a bruiser last night. He sent me a pic of his lumenok glowing. Get back out there tomorrow and keep your head up.

By the way guys, I said I wasn’t gonna shoot a doe for a while. Well, I didn’t.
