My dad just got busted by something that was coming behind him. Said it blew like crazy. Guess they’re moving.

Backed out of that thick stuff, no way I’d ever get close enough for a shot on anything. Way too thick to shoot, back to tree, might take a saddle nap.

Since I moved my stand yesterday, and making X amount of noise doing that, I'm going to let it settle today. I'm going to do a dark to dark tomorrow, so it'll be quiet going in with the moist early morning leaves. I love that time in the dark waiting for it to get light, and hopefully hearing something go through, wondering what it was.
I'm looking forward to it, since I haven't done an all day sit yet this season. I'm due for some positive change! :tu:

Just had a nice doe go by at 15 yards go by with her mouth open like she was being chased. Small spike followed a few minutes after.

This turned into a not so eventful morning. Probably bailing in an hour, but hoping for late morning cruiser. I'm up wind of bedding and they shouldn't be behind me here.

I got a BRUTE on camera... these are screen grabs from him tearing up a scrape. Missing his whole one side tho.

Could have shot the doe all day long, but could tell she was being dogged. Once I saw that, Bow in hand, I decided to pass to see what would be following her. So far the spike.

Im 100% happy with my decision.

Once I saw her being dogged, I knew it was finally on here and the focus is on a buck.
